You have to wonder about those statistics. One in 3 american children are overweight, and one in 5 are struggling with hunger. Do they balance out?
If the parents don't buy food but spend money on drugs, alcohol or other items, what can you do? We have food stamps but theres a lot of abuse and it doesn't buy what it should. WIC is a good program.

By helping them advance technologically so they would be able to feed themselves... Isn't that what the Tea Party is all about?...

You asked a nonsense question, and surprised you get drivel? Sorry me posting real life scenarios isnt drivel, unless of course you dont think I'm planning to feed my children. Is that what you are suggesting?

Because its not the responsibility of government, nor the tea partiers, to feed the world.

I'm not a tea partier, but that doesnt mean I have to avoid your thread. I'm perfectly free to join it and laugh at it as anyone else who can join it and post their non stop hate.

Some of you crack me up. You seem to think that if the government doesn't provide for them that they will starve. What do you think churches, synagogues, mosques have been doing for centuries before governments took it upon themselves? These things are best done on a local level rather than a federal. Federal ownership of these things have helped kill our sense of community and neighborly compassion in our communities. Now, we have people walk by someone who is homeless and then they mutter to themselves, "Why isn't the gov. doing something". It is OUR job - not the governments - to love one another. Do it - and quit passing the buck off to them.

So now you expect children to take much needed money out of their pocket which should be spent on food, to buy computers to advance themself technologically, so they can go get a job?

are you starting to see why these threads are stupid?

Still waiting.....what's the Democrat plan for the hungry? I don't recall hearing about one? Surely there must be one if the question at hand is "What are the Tea Party plans about child hunger?" I mean, isn't this really about one-upmanship......how Democrats are superior?

So show me the plan.
