Because white people never disrespect Asians in their own countries. I'd actually go so far as to say a white person has NEVER done anything like this to an Asian person.
Im sure it has happened, but obviously the White people causing trouble in Asian nations are not dumb enough to get filmed while doing it.
WHY are all those men just standing around doing nothing? They should have whooped this guy's derriere, en mass.
Yeah, that would show him. Those Koreans, wow, what a violent people. Of course, if that were a Korean man screaming at elderly black folk, you certainly wouldn't advocate the black people whooping derriere, now would you??
1) The man is living in Korea, but doesn't speak any Korean. We know this because they wouldn't start processing him because they didn't have an English translator.
2) The man seems to be incredibly annoyed by the hostile and racist Koreans he is living amongst to the point that he feels the need to attack one of them who can't really even defend himself.
His presence in Korea is similar to that of the foreigners that live here and don't speak English, whom I have no doubt that he would be complaining about if he were still back here in the states. And he obviously doesn't really even like being there, being that he can't get along with the people there. He simply should not be in Korea. They should kick him out, or we should force him to come back here.
I'm not defending this guy's behavior at all. To provide context though, I have been told by many friends who have been stationed in Korea that Koreans are racists ... not toward black people in particular, but toward all non Koreans, including whites.
Thank god this man was there to illuminate Koreans, and dispel the negative stereotypes they have about gaijin. Yeah, yeah, I know, but it's all the same thing, right?
Many of the younger generation Koreans actually have a fetish for Black men (the women) or at least a curiosity. I have family and friends who live in Seoul and Busan. Just saying considering some of the posts said Koreans are racists. Koreans are very formal and respect for elders is valued highly. Elders also expect to receive that respect.
