A very great shame that as an "ambassador without portfolio" of both western society and the black race; those people on that subway will carry the impression, mistaken though it may be, that ALL American blacks are bullies.

They will probably come to the conclusion that he is a U.S. citizen from his accent and use of slang "yo *****" type of statements and of course the connection could very well be erroneous but the damage is done.

Could he have been the brunt of derogatory remarks that bothered him previously? Sure; but his reaction was not aimed at a suitable receptor given his large size and threatening demeanor. He chose instead, an elderly, all but defenseless couple to "go postal" on.

A great shame that anger ruled his thinking at that precise moment. It happens all too often in this hurly-burly world

Where is the sentence flawed? It has a subject, verb and direct object and clearly conveys the intended message. Just because it doesn't start with an auxiliary verb doesn't mean it's not grammatically correct.

That's the point, Edward. "Blacks" are not associated with these acts. It's only you and white racists who associate "Blacks" with these acts. The abhorrent uncivilized acts are committed by individuals. If they're black, that's a problem. No matter what race they are, it's a problem.

I'm black, and I have nothing to do with what that idiot did in South Korea. I assume you didn't either. So why are you trying to act as if I did?

Please, I just don't want to be associated with the buffoonery emanating from your community,

I did think back and can remember discussions( like 10 plus years ago) about the worst gamers online and their general offensiveness and unsocial behavior. It was the koreans and they were generally despised. That is probably irrelevant and certainly I'm not defending the crazy neanderthal in the video.
Its an asian thing. They really get into games and can lose social skills as a result, as can any gamer, and lack of common language can make somebody seem more unsocial.
Many chinese actually play games and " farm" the economies of the games for a living.
Did you know that some online games have bigger cyber economies than actual countries? I mean they actually have more real dollars generated in game and transferred among players than some of the poorest third world countries.
I'm interested on knowing where this guys comes from if he's from Pennsylvania. How the heck did he get a job teaching english?

LOL, I'm sure you have. There's some excuse for bad grammar but not knowing the difference between your/you're? WOW!

The stats, violent flash mobs and the daily viral video clips tell a different story. Keep dismissing the problem and assigning blame to white racists. Folks off all stripes can see for themselves what is going on and it ain't pretty.

The number one rated comment on the Youtube video of this story when I originally posted was by an African saying Black Americans are an embarrassment. Before you accuse me of posting the comment it was not me.

I could turn that around as well, but I'm not going to stoop to your level of insanity.
