You would think if someone had a higher IQ score, they'd be wiser and know better to stay away from drugs.

Yes but having a higher IQ can make you more likely to be depressed, at least that's what I've heard.

Anyone with an IQ over 60 knows drugs are bad. And wisdom != IQ.

Huh? I don't think the poster advocated prohibition. The poster made the sensible observation that we would be better off if people did not use drugs. That is hardly an outlandish statement.
