That payroll tax cut should have NEVER happened. That funds SS and with the way SS is today that is the last thing it needs..less $$$ going into the SS Trust Fund.
That is why the President is proposing that millionaires & billionaires replace the revenue that would be lost as a result of payroll tax relief, unlike the Bush tax cuts that were not funded.
Sorry, bob.....the only thing that makes me tingly is my wife....

Advance Legislative Issues One at a Time: We will end the practice of packaging unpopular bills with “must-pass” legislation to circumvent the will of the American people. Instead, we will advance major legislation one issue at a time.
I already knew it will never get past the Senate, that has been the operating method of the Repugs in the House for the last two years, pass Partisan Bills that they know will never get past the Senate then claim they are trying to do something. As for agreements, isn't the Repugs that keep saying NO Compromise
The repugs sent bi-partisan bills to the Reid controlled senate, and Reid still rejected them out of hand.
He's veto'ing the pipeline that nobody can justify. It's just a political move by the Republican congress who refused to pass the payroll tax cut extension. It's a Democratic tax cut, so the nation 'can't afford it' unlike Republican tax cuts which are good because they put more money in the hands of their rich friends, oops, I mean job creators.

Huh? Of course the pipeline is justifiable on many levels. Preventing it has zero justification. Of course the Republicans want it passed, it is in their bill. Obama simply can't ignore his marching orders from the environmental lobby, and achieve a compromise.
