The SS are actually professionals and have not (publicly) complained. Unlike many, they know what they signed up for and honor that agreement supremely.

Right, I've only addressed it about 5 times. Just like scrolling down to the relevant passage in the book, looks like some have a hard time finding this as well, even though I've posted it like I said about 5 times.

Considering that the starting salary for a Secret Service Agent can be as high as $74,891 per year along with generous civil service benefits, retirement after 20 years and a substantial retirement... missing a few Christmases with the family ain't a whole lot to ask.
Yeah, that's an outrage as well. MOST paid by the taxpayer.
