For those on the fence about voting for President Obama's re-election but who care about a woman's right to choose - remember that there could be at least two seats on the SCOTUS that will need to be filled in the next couple of years. It is imperative that we keep a Dem in the White House to make sure those seats are filled by judges who will retain a woman's right to a safe and legal abortion by not overturning Roe v. Wade. A number of our current republi-thug candidates have said that doing just that would be one of the first things they would seek to do if elected and appointing radical, conservative, bought-and-paid for by the Koch Brothers judges could set women's reproductive rights back a hundred years.

the mere term pro-abortion as meaning you are in favor of women choosing abortion over choosing to remain pregnant is what I was saying was RIDICULOUS........as is obvious. The term pro-abortion as meaning that you favor the womans choice to self determination of her own bodily functions and YOU don't get to come between her, her doctor or her vagina is what pro abortion would actually mean. Which would make me pro-life.....the life of the woman to choice.
Because that would be missing the whole point, which is to make abortion so difficult and burdensome that all but the most secure, resourceful, and affluent women in need of abortions will be discouraged and driven away, forced into compulsory childbearing.

That is not true. Pro-choice means giving women the option to choose to keep the baby, abortion, or adoption.
There are a very few, tiny minority in the pro-choice movement who believe abortion should be available on demand up until 40 weeks gestation. They are by far the minority, and of course this is not legal.

Not at all. There comes a point in pregnancy when the fetus is developed enough to have human rights - right to life being one of those. At that point, there is another person in the equation.
