The S&W Model-10 4" .38 SPL was one of the most used Police handguns in the distant past. The S&W 4" Model 66 .357 Mag was to follow. Model 66s started heating up in the '70s and were used Nationwide until about the mid 80's. 9mm semi autos took their place. a nice life sentence in a maximum security prison would be appropiate for murder and illegal traffic of firearms.
