Please, that is total BS. You can be stoned and quite capable of fighting.
The fact is this case only is going to trial because Traynor was initially portrayed as a 13 year old schoolboy being attacked by a man much larger and a purposely edited tape that made Zimmerman appear possibly racist.
I was giving Traynor the benefit of the doubt when I declared he was possibly stoned. I would hope that his irrational act of violence was not just part of his nature.
This case is going to trial because a SA investigated the incident and determined that laws were broken and filed charges. Just that simple. Btw, a REPUBLICAN State Attorney, appointed by a REPUBLICAN/TEA PARTY Governor, made that determination.
Still, that's really funny. You think someone who is "stoned" can pick a fight with someone who is not, can pin that person down on the ground, slam his head onto a sidewalk enough so that the person is in fear for his life, all while being at least partially incapacitated? Really?
Notice that word repeatedly. Zimmermen was not staliking.
I know it wasn't stalking. Even if he followed tm after the dispatcher advised not to, it wasn't stalking. But what the heck. They have to convict him of Something. If they don't get him on murder, maybe a jury would compromise on stalking.

You have really been watching too many anti marijuana propaganda films. Believe it or not drugs seldom leave someone incapable of fighting. Yes, Republicans are just as likely, or more likely, to violate an individual's civil rights as Democrats, except on property issues. Do you not agree or do you feel only Democrats lock up the innocent?

And the "Something" he's charged with is 2nd degree murder. Possibly a conviction of manslaughter as a lesser included.
If you're interested in the legal aspects, this is a very good analysis of the laws pertaining to this case:
Amazing how Zimmermen's history of violence, which consists of pushing a police officer, and allegedly ***** slapping his girlfriend can be brought up ad nauseum but any depiction of Martin in a negative light is condemned.

If they compromise, it will be on manslaughter. Clearly, like whogo, you haven't read the timeline link nor the link of possible charges that FF5000
posted, or you'd have a much better information base on which to base your opinions.
Very sad and scary because they are walking, living and breathing among us
