I believe the truly Gay are about 15%, if you count "bi-sexuals", the figure is close to 20%.

ALL polls are basically worthless, how many people would answer a poll honestly, regardless of WHO is taking it, that can cost them their careers and stigmatize them for life?

The 4% is the group that march in the parades and don't care what others think.

I would agree with this. We will never know the exact figure because a very large portion of people who are not 100% straight never fully embrace their true identity. The will play the straight role to avoid all the incredible amount of hate, discrimination and crap from people. It's is SO MUCH easier to be straight. Which why it ALWAYS cracks me up when people say..it's a choice!

So if there is a choice...it would be to live a lie to avoid all the heartache. Sad life indeed. Can you imagine living life lying to everyone just because you were different from them. Horrible.

Why should we care? Should the rights a group of people are entitled to depend on their fraction of the population?

If anything, the smaller the percentage the weaker the argument of conservatives that allowing same-sex marriage will somehow "destroy" marriage.

Then they will say "Why should we give "special" rights to such a small percentage of the population".

They have yet to state what these special rights are/would be.

You mean he didn't???

Over an hour, and no one has been able to come up with anything? No surprise there.

There are threads that are very old, and not one person has stated ONE "special" right same-sex marriage would bring.

You're straight? You could never tell from your posts. You've been in denial for over a day now.
