Maybe it's just where I live, but whatever job is ABUNDANT.

I have no issue with people living with their families. I have said as much on different threads. But a family home in the case I'm speaking of is one where everyone contributes a fair share. Rent, groceries, cleaning, upkeep, cooking, maintenance, repairs. Not sit on your @#!*% waiting for miracle six-figure fantasy job to appear.

And, no. You should not be ashamed. Your mother is awesome for taking you back in. That's what families are supposed to do - not put everyone on welfare. I hope you do the same for her when she can't take care of herself instead of dumping her off at a nursing home.
Yeah maybe it is where you live. I was living in Kentucky and whatever job wasn't happening like a lot of places.

One thing that is puzzling is why do the men of my generation play video games so much? My dad didn't have time. I'm not understanding why men between 25-34 wouldn't be spending the majority of their time building careers and making money, and how they would even have time to spend playing video games in the frequency they do.
Your dad probably didn't HAVE video games available to him so naturally he would not play them. Today's game are very realistic meaning if you've always wanted to fight a war but wont do the military service, you can be right in the heat of the action on the battlefield for only $60 and not have to worry about getting your head blown off. Myself I work 8-430pm. I have no kids or nothing so I don't think there is anything wrong with spending an hour or two on my 360.

What people have to understand is most guys who play video games and watch porn actually work and/or go to school and have their own place. I have outgrown porn, I am 32, but still game from time to time. My porn use was heaviest when I was working AND going to school, good stress release and kept me sane. This pathetic article lacks anything analytical. Their are plenty pathetic women as well, and are also on the government dimes. Most of my friends are engineers and many think dating is too much a hassle, we have our hobbies. Some have had girlfriends, others have not. We also are heavily into our physical conditions, we lift weights and do cardio a lot.

At the end of the day anyone who blames their dating problems on an entire gender is not even worthy of the sperm they were conceived of.

I sure dont have any problem with guys sitting on their asses playing video games, or watching movies, or playing cards or whatever else they do. You can say that again. Unlike you, I certainly dont waste my days away rotting and festering in anger and bitterness while wringing my hands over what other people are doing with their lives...lol Just face it bud: you have a tremendous problem with reading comprehension, and are now desperately reaching to wire work my statement into what you thought you read, and to rationalize your emotional overreaction in your poor interpretation of my post. You had hoped that thumping your chest like a lowbrow ape and bellowing about "hardships, mental toughness" and walking both ways uphill in the snow would somehow imbue you with the militant lieutenant dan image you covet. Yet as is the story of your life, you have emerged a failure before us all. You can try to wire work your interpretation of what I said all you want to, but at the end of the day, you waste your days away "feeling sorry for" and worrying about what other people are doing with their lives. Not a man (a term applied very loosely here) Id envy one bit.

No, not really.

My uncles got divorced when I was growing up, so I didn't make the mistake of thinking I was going to marry without facing the prospect of a divorce court destroying my life.

I said no thanks to marriage years ago and lots of younger guys are coming to the same conclusion.

Bottom line...it's a ***** deal.

My thing is this, there is nothing wrong if people do not want to be married.

Marriage only benefits the woman. Really no point to it.
