They had their chance, and they did lose. And I doubt that most people in Texas would want to secede.

I want to point something out.

This is not "Barack Obama's America."

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

These "United States of America" can have two interpatations . All for one, one for all, United States as a country.States rights are secondary........The other side sees it as each state unto itself., only united for fighting Wars.

Supposing for argument's sake that Texas were to secede during the President's second term (and get away with it), and that in 2016 a thorough-going, dyed-in-the-wool movement conservative (say, Santorum) were to win the election - would Texas then re-apply for statehood?

Answer: No. The right wing will continue to whine about losing a free, fair, and open democratic election, they'll continue to make up lots of complete BS and they'll work tirelessly to gerrymander districts and try to prevent the will of the people but at the end of the day they're all chicken crap. They'll no doubt continue listening to the mad ravings of the idiots on the radio who tell them lies and fleece them for cash but the 60 year old racist losers who buy into that garbage have never and will never make up the majority.

Why not go all the way if you are so down on our political system ? , or , is it you just can't stand a black man in the White House? You are not alone ether.Get over it and start to do what we say for once. The American people have made their choice, its the will of the populaces to decide and they have I.
Try Canada, its close by....O' they have control on their gun issues, maybe you would be rejected instantly.
