The total cuts are less than $100 billion. You added $1 trillion in deficit spending and the UE rate increased.

You think 8% unemployment is bad, but you are fine with the sequester pushing unemployment up to 9%?
Then start making Drama Obama act like a grown up and tell him to cut spending in a more reasonable manner.
All Obama wants is to increase taxes AGAIN and he does not care how he does it or who to. Just remember, the next time he may consider you rich. He is NOT going to stop.

Listening to Obama, you would think there really would be spending cuts rather than a miniscule reduction in the spending increases. But to the worlds biggest spender, a slowing of the increase must be quite stressful.
The joker in the White House is saying a 1% cut will "add hundreds of thousands of Americans to the unemployment rolls. ... The unemployment rate might tick up again."
But 8% unemployment for 4 years is just fine with him. What a joke.

But there’s a small problem with the report: One of the cuts it warns against would affect an agency that no longer exists–and didn’t exist when the OMB sent its report to congress.
The first line item on page 121 of the OMB’s September 2012 report says that under sequestration the National Drug Intelligence Center would lose $2 million of its $20 million budget. While that’s slightly more than 8.2 percent (rounding error or scare tactic?), the bigger problem is that the National Drug Intelligence Centershuttered its doors on June 15, 2012–three months before the OMB issued its report to Congress.
