Good, because it is about to become all yours. I hope the president stands firm and lets the sequester move forward. I'm happy with the big cuts to defense, and once the other cuts start to kick in, it will become the Republicans' sequester, 100%. Works for me.

But he supported it in the past.

Personally I hope it happens, the government is too big. Both the democrats and republicans spend to much. The system is broke and everyone in power, especially the democrats, are acting like the sky is falling with this half of one percent cut.

Yes, because he recognizes the hardship it is going to put on everyday Americans. But aside from negotiating with himself, he doesn't have any other choice but to cave to the GOP or hold firm. I'm hoping he holds firm. Let the sequester go through, and let the Republicans feel the full force of the results.

Listening to Obama, you would think there really would be spending cuts rather than a miniscule reduction in the spending increases. But to the worlds biggest spender, a slowing of the increase must be quite stressful.

The joker in the White House is saying a 1% cut will "add hundreds of thousands of Americans to the unemployment rolls. ... The unemployment rate might tick up again."

But 8% unemployment for 4 years is just fine with him. What a joke.
Absolutely all lies.... from the authors of Benghazigate.

Hey all of you who think the solution is to tax the rich.... Can you people read? Or think? Obama and his liars are all over the media lying. Listen to the words. If you do no understand that you are being lied to... there is no hope for you.

we are so screwed......

So he resorts to lies and extortion. If Government does not get higher taxes, we will fire teachers and firefighters and police and release felons and illegals. Why? Because there are no other inefficiencies in Government.

What ever happened to the Obama who was going to go thru the budget with a scalpel to eliminate duplication and waste? ROFTLMAO!!!

If those who support Obama are not angry, those people are beyond help

We are so screwed!!!!!!

Exactly right. For reasons that many of his sheep in the herd just don't quite understand.

The cuts to defense aren't smart. In fact, they were intentionally put in place because of the magnitude of their harmfulness. Indeed, the President's sequester was a bargaining chip of the highest order. In a fit of Amateur Leadership, he had no idea how entrenched both Democrats and Republicans were when he set out on the sequester journey. Undoubtedly he regrets that he put forth the sequester in the first place because our defense apparatus is about to be dismantled by a single stroke of his 2012 pen. Barack Obama is responsible for this situation.....and while you may like the "idea" of "defense cuts".....there's more to the story than meets the eye. Will still support Barack through thick and thin....when those layoff notices are handed out by the hundreds of thousands? Is this your idea of a "balanced" approach?

I implore you to understand this before throwing blind support behind budget buffoonery.

I say let the sequestration take place and have the Krackers who post here have their government welfare payments the first to be cut. Then let's see how holier than thou they are.
