The intent of republicans to point out that the sequester was invented by the whitehouse is a RESPONSE to the whitehouse claiming this was a republican idea.

Further even Bob Woodward has stated that Obama has "moved the goal posts" with is new demands for additional tax revenue as part of the plan.

Republicans are RESPONDING to the lies by Barak Obama. They are not attacking.

you need to get the right set of facts before you start blathering.
You sound like a five year old, whining, "But Moooom, he started it!"

Congress voted on it, so they must have wanted it, too. The bottom line is that both sides put this in place, and therefore, both sides own it. Geesh, grow up!

It was supposed to be a deterrent to force the two sides to compromise. Perhaps you shouldn't comment on this subject if you aren't even aware of that most basic fact.

How would a sequester cause job losses and less consumer demand?

Note to Republicans: to vote in support of something and then act like you didn't have anytjingtime to do with it when politically convenient is a reflection of immaturity and low integrity.

The republicans have destroyed economic growth that was taking place under a democratic president because they insist that the only kind of economic growth that's good is that which takes place under a republitard commander in chief.

The question is, what will American voters do? Will they finally wise up and vote for people who support the interests of everyone or will they continue to tune out, watch American Idol, and complain that 'both parties do it'.
We are sick of Obama's drama and going out to the stupid to "drone" up support. Every time he wants something (like higher taxes) he brings up the "children" when children generation past ours will pay for his spending and fear mongering and those freebies you get. Everytime he wants more tax revenue he brings up the poor, the poor need to get off their butts and stop expecting the government to pay for their cell phones.

Obama wanted this people and he thought the republicans would fall all over themselves to raise taxes to stop it.

Obama got fooled and now he is blaming the republicans because they didn't fall all over themselves and for not raising taxes AGAIN. Now Obama wants to dictate where the cut so it hurts more people. Yes this is your president. His only concern is NOT you.

So now Obama goes out to the stupid people again.

OMG, Obama wanted sequestration and now he is telling us

THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!

Well Obama got his tax increase, and the GOP wanted cuts, so why isn't the GOP owning the sequester cuts? Whats wrong with that? Surely they can't say that Obama is both a spender and deficit hawk (with the sequester cutting spending across all areas)?

Come on GOP...this has been your mantra for quite some time. Cut spending. It is that time now..be proud, GOP-proud and own the cuts. The time has come...

...unless ofcourse the GOP isn't for spending cuts at all

Byron York: How defense spending will grow under sequester cuts | WashingtonExaminer.com

The military's budget will grow under sequester as I said. It only shrinks under sequester if you use gimmicks of counting the end of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and pretend that the sequester is cutting those two wars to an end...

We need our politicians to stop lying to us. That goes for Obama and Boehner.

We need to start thinking and stop being a sheep.
