NO, it's not. The judge just DENIED most of the Defense objections to these calls coming into evidence. What makes you think the Defense would OBJECT to the evidence if that evidence would be good for them?
Residents called Zimmerman and he merely reported it to police. He wasn't out looking for black men. These calls will mean nothing for the prosecution.
And you think him calling the police is going to be sooooo damning? So we have phone calls to police by Zimmerman and a whacked out druggy, illiterate chick as States evidence... Real winners..
Yes, I think it's a huge win for the prosecution; they Judge DENIED the motions by the Defense to keep those calls OUT.
The Trayvonistas have made much ado about the number of calls Zimm made. On the other hand, we have a NW expert who says the job of NW is to call police. You know.....eyes and ears.....
They can't have it both ways.
But they'll try.
The JURY will decide what importance to give the calls versus the testimony of the NW person. She was not qualified as an expert in court, IIRC. If I'm incorrect about that, I'm sure you'll let me know with something to support your word.
then I think all the tweets and TM's past should be allowed also
It's the LAW which determines whether or not Martin's tweets and past is allowed in. So far the Court has ruled they cannot come in BASED ON THE LAW. And ONE MORE TIME, Zimmerman did not know Martin at the time he shot and killed him and he did not know anything about Martin's past.

If they mean nothing for the prosecution, WHY did the Defense fight so hard to keep the calls out of evidence???
When we heard the recordings of the calls, we will know whether or not Zimmerman was reporting incidents which were reported to him or if he was reporting what he was seeing. However, the Defense DID NOT WANT those calls to be played to the jury. They fought hard to keep them out.
GZ knew nothing about Trayvon when he reported him to the police. Zip. Trayvon's past is totally irrelevant.
really his past is irrelevant
the fact of being 6'3 former high school football player with anger issues
the fact that he was from a broken home
the fact that he was suspended at least 3 times just in the past year
the fact that he was caught with stolen property and burglery tools
the fact that he had a pipe and an bag of weed residue
the fact that he told his girl friend he was going to get this guy who was watching him
the fact that he was acting suspicous, looking in some of the houses, (casing/checking out )
the fact of his offensive tweets and illegally having a gun
realy that is all irrelevant
the facts are a punk kid was acting suspicous in a neighborhood that was having problems with robberies, he was tailed/observed by the neighborhood watch, TM attacked the neighborhood watch, and unfortuatly was killed in self defense
This crazy woman. Her 911 call is hilarious. She has a captive audience in that poor dispatcher, who can't hang up on her.
