Ah, I see the court reporter......so they have a human court reporter instead of relying on digital recording for the record in this case.
HUGE WIN for prosecution. Judge ruled that Zimmerman's calls to the police reporting young black men in the neighborhood WILL BE ADMITTED. The prosecution will then be playing all those Zimmerman calls to the police.
From the medical report --- nasal bones, closed fracture; likely broken, swelling and black eyes typical of this injury, no apparent septal deviation.
His nose was injured. How important is it whether his nose was broken, fractured, damaged. The injury doesn't fit his description of 25 punches to the face. It doesn't confirm how the injury happened. So, broken vs. fractured vs. damaged vs. bloody and swollen is a worthless dispute.
It goes to Zimmerman's lack of truthfulness about his injuries. The prosecution is definitely going to places to destroy any credibility by Zimmerman. And "injured" or "damaged" nose is less serious than a broken nose. Too bad Martin did not break his nose; if he had, maybe Zimmerman would have run for help because it hurt so badly that he would never have killed Martin, IMO.

This is great for the defense.... 5 of Zimmerman's 12 911 calls are going to be admitted. The other 7 were not black men.

NO, it's not. The judge just DENIED most of the Defense motions to these calls coming into evidence. What makes you think the Defense would OBJECT to the evidence if that evidence would be good for them?

I could swear some fools have said it was merely drizzling.
In FLORIDA when it's a long rain (like for hours, sometimes all day), it pours for a few seconds/minutes and then it drizzles for a few second/minutes, it certainly does cycle through like that in some storms. It rains a LOT in Florida! You appear to be getting pretty desperate, having to resort of insignificant things like how different witnesses describe the rain.

The Trayvonistas have made much ado about the number of calls Zimm made. On the other hand, we have a NW expert who says the job of NW is to call police. You know.....eyes and ears.....
They can't have it both ways.
