A white supremacist hacked into Travyon’s Gmail and social networking site accounts to expose him as a “thug” to the public.

But Gawker reported that this hacker’s mission backfired when the email was filled with messages about the late teen’s interest in college and aeronautics.

They were able to confirm that at least one email account that belonged to Martin was cracked. His emails show a normal high school junior preparing for college.

"A screenshot of Trayvon's Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking.

Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it's filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. ("Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!") One email included the results of a career aptitude test. It "talked about his interest in aeronautics and stuff."

Both Trayvon’s mother and brother have remarked that he’d taken honors classes.

Nah, I think I'd go back and engage him in conversation if I were so terrified of him. Or stand outside my doorway for a while before going back and trying to murder him.

Chances are great that if Martin had a gun that eventually he would shoot someone....In the case of stupid gun owners..guns are stupidly used.
And you know that how? Clairvoyance? Having a gun at the least allowed his to stop a vicious assault, and may in fact have kept him alive.

You were saying he wouldn't get out of the car if he were not armed....where is the software for that theory? He knew police were on the way and he wanted to be able to tell police of TM's whereabouts. There is no other plausible explanation, and there has been no evidence to prove otherwise.

You don't know if Martin was "angry" or scared for his life. You don't know if Martin was standing his ground to defend himself against a would-be stalker or what. Zimmerman had far more reason to be angry. After all, "those a*holes always get away." Who had the most reason to be angry?

It seems like a good time to repost this; why is it that some posters simply cannot maintain a sense of civility, much less one of common decency? Harassing and rudeness are TABOO on this thread, and keep in mind that the character assassination of a kid who'd been 17 for two damn weeks who is DEAD is the lowest level of social interaction possible. He was killed simply walking home from the convenience store, for God's sake. George Zimmerman killed him and is on trial for that...Trayvon Martin is not alive to testify about the fear he experienced in the last minutes of his life. As another poster said, there is a karmic law, and some folks are going to get a jolt from the universe for their lack of sheer humanity. This thread went well today, but apparently some posters only learn by rote, so the moderator's words should be posted daily, apparently. Frankly, some posters should be ashamed of themselves for behaving like middle school bullies. It's just plain disgusting. Discuss the trial, not other posters or groups of people. Ibginnie is right...grow up and get over it.

"Black males" have a bad reputation because SOME young black males are idiots...and prone to criminal behavior and general violence. Don't blame white people for something that some have brought upon themselves. Here is the question- If Martin was the stereo typical bad ass young black male....then some would say - he deserved what he got.....The prosecution is determined to prove that Martin was a potential valuable young member of society...that he was a good kid...and in America shooting bad black kids is okay...and shooting "Nice" black kids is a no no....What should have been addressed here is not the black on white issue...but does a citizen have the right to execute what they believe to be a bad person?

The whole attitude is askew in America regarding guns and self protection and the use of deadly force by common citizens. No member of society nor the state should have authority to execute a human being...The pro-Zimmerman camp are probably pro-capital punishment also.

This support of Zimmerman does the guy a dis-service- AMERICA had better figure out if they are pro-life or pro death. The old law "Thou shall not kill" - is very wise...no one should kill anyone....What is really on trial here is the attitude that killing is either right or wrong...Eventually America will have to dump it's third world mentality that killing is cool...maybe start with the idiots in Hollywood who have made a killing - propagating killing.

No one was executed, the claim is Zimmerman was defending his life from an assault. And I am against the death penalty.

More about the real Trayvon.

"After taking an airplane ride two years ago, Trayvon decided he wanted to learn to fly," his uncle Ronald Fulton said. The teen attended a Miami aviation school part time and was studying to be an engineer, a path to realizing his ambition, Fulton said.

Math was Trayvon's favorite subject.

He liked to tinker, and he was good with his hands. He once took apart and repaired a broken scooter, Fulton said, and he liked to construct model cars and airplanes and draw pictures of things he wanted to build.

"He was extremely creative," said Michelle Kypriss, Trayvon's English teacher at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in Miami. "He just loved building things. He really was intrigued by how things worked."

She described Trayvon, a junior, as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness. Trayvon was under a five-day suspension when he was shot, but Kypriss said it was due to tardiness and not misbehavior.

"Trayvon was not a violent or dangerous child. He was not known for misbehaving," the teacher said. "He was suspended because he was late too many times."

His uncle said Trayvon was still a typical kid who loved sports, music and was just feeling the first flush of youth. "He was trying to start driving. He was just finding out about girls."

Trayvon was close to his 21-year-old brother Jahvaris, also of Miami, and assisted his uncle, a quadriplegic, on outings to University of Miami basketball games."
