He cracked a smile when the professor was explaining about SYG...."That thing" that George said he'd never heard of...smirk

Without a doubt.

So..Customarily defense attorney's depo their witnesses. I find it very hard to believe that Mr. Donnelly hadn't discussed this case, or the tape or anything else, given his bias and his monetary investment in George's case.

I missed that one.

I didn't miss the great big grin on his face, though, when he looked Sean Hannity in the eye and lied through his teeth about never having heard of SYG.

In fact, now that I think about it, I think it was after the video of that interview that I saw him smiling.

I would bet that is a serious “mound conference”(baseball reference here) being conducted with BDLR.

Might see a change of pitcher in the game?
You appear to have an amazing imagination. No, they do not change lead attorneys in mid-trial.

I saw a smile, but I missed what came right before that caused him to smile. I did hear the commentator say thet the jury might find that inappropriate. I got the impresiion that he kind of smiled/laughed at something that a witness said that he should not have found amusing.

This might be it...

They may be wiping tears because they feel bad they are going to send him to jail anyway.
