So what? You have no proof if God spoke to him or not..... why so intolerant of other peoples beliefs?

No, Dr. Carson is still fine right now. I bet you right now this year he has spoken at events thrown by black organizations. Seriously, his bone headed political beliefs are kind of irrelevant.

Am I really reading this? You're saying that civil rights and voting laws shouldn't be issues that involve the government .

LOL, ok I am not saying whether GOD spoke to him or not. Evidently, whether Dr. Ben Carson speaks to GOD is for you to speculate about.

I am saying that if a person asks you a public policy question and not a religious question about why you support a flat tax and your answer is because GOD says so, that is an embarrassingly ignorant answer.

Seriously, we are going have tax policy not based on the needs of our nation, but based on someone's religious beliefs? Again, if you can't see how ignorant his answer was, I can't help you.

Why is the government, or at least some currently involved in politics, trying to break what we fixed between the 60's and 90s.

Race relations were good until recently when a certain group decided to derail that

As far as being needed, at the time, government needed to step in and pass the legislation in 1965 that was pushed by Eisenhower in the 50's

The conservative attitude: America is the land of opportunity and if people can't take the opportunity then too bad. The tough truth is that our social mobility is not anywhere near what it once was. There are going to be lots of poor in this country, and should the government do something to help them or only focus on its high-income interests (bloated medical spending, unnecessary military projects, etc.)?

If you're on here fighting to cut out $40 billion of welfare but have no problem with $400 billion projects to build tanks and planes that we don't need, you have some flawed logic.

Default Dem solution- infinite taxpayer money to no effect

Better to ask why Dems have dome absolutely nothing measurable to improve the issues.

For example, Dems in control of Newrk, NJ since the 40s except for a one term independant and it a disaster. Newark is the center of excellence for crime and more than a murder a month since the late 60s. And yet the citizens keep voting for the Dem masters without question.

Any meanngful discussion is simply a dem trap to charge racism. Dems are the dogs that bite the rescuer keeping help much needed help at bay.

Dems cannot recognize value of proposed solutions if the solution isn't the same as theirs. So much for diversity of thought.

these inner cities under Dem control are money pits. What are the Dems doing with all that taxpayer cash? Zuckerberg gave Newark edu 100 milll$$$. What happened to that?

Perhaps the Dems call for cash is npot the panacea they claim...

Did you know that some Republicans have actively been trying to gerrymander out the minority vote in certain states? And who derailed our "good" race relations?
