When I lived in Europe I was sometimes woken up by the crashing clanging of church bells...they can be incredibly loud. In only one city was I within any kind of hearing distance of a mosque and only sometimes heard the call to prayer; the wind had to be right. Didn't bother me. (I'm Jewish.)
Where have you heard a Muslim call to prayer in the US?
Go to Dearborn, MI they are pretty prevalent there. Given the choice, I prefer the "live" version to the taped version so common today. Having listened to it, up to five times a day everywhere from Bosnia to Iraq, I will say just the high frequency pitch, and shoddy PA speakers make it hard to take. No objections to people freely practicing the religion of their choice, but some of those blown PA speakers can do a number on your ears....
I once saw a guy take out his prayer rug on the sidewalk of street in WDC, maybe he heard it
Other times I've heard some church ringing to the tune of "Anchors Aweigh".
Not sure I'd mind it on occasion but not every day. They could put it on tv. That way, I could either turn off the tv or change the channel. That would be harder to do if they had any church bells or any other calls to prayer (for any religion) if it were in one's physical location - until we can teletransport ourselves elsewhere - if it gets annoying
I wouldn't know, I never hear it. I do hear church bells though. And every once in awhile at 6:00 p.m., they ring continuously which is annoying. I don't know the reasoning behind that.
I grew up in a largely Muslim area on the far North Side of Chicago, and I can honestly say I never heard any local muezzin call out--not even once.
I grew up in that area as well, and never heard it once. I did hear the church bells from my local Catholic church signaling the start of Mass several times every Sunday morning, though. Even though I left the Catholic church at age 16, I still enjoyed hearing the bells.

The only issue the OP has is that no one here is taking the bait of his usual atheist hate-mongering.
I don't imagine many places would allow PA systems to be installed all over the place for one small subset of people. Noise ordinances are pretty strict across most of America anyway. If it is happening somewhere there must be some really odd series of events that led up to it. Plus, PA systems are old skool tech, like another poster said...there is probably an app for that.
