No, it is a three way battle royale in the GOP. There are the big govt. statist wing (McCain, Peter King, Lindsey Graham, etc.), the bible thumper wing (Huckabee, Akin),and the classic liberal wing (Tea Party). The Tea Party is by far the largest base of the GOP and the direction the party should follow if it wants to win elections.

The GOPs problems are way smaller than the Democrats. The Democrats "blue state" model is a failure, it does not work. They are forced to change their bedrock ideas or die as a party since those bedrock ideas do not work here in the real world.

Neither will ever be President

The tea party will never win unless they give up the social issues platform. They have to win independents you know. And of course they have to win the women's vote.

After Ronney's loss, the GOP vowed to change course and rebrand itself. Have you seen any change other than reconfirming their horrible stances on the issues? I haven't and the GOP controlled Congress has most likely the most dismal approval rating in our nations history due to the consistent and self-serving obstructionism. It's just who they have become and it aint looking good for them. Another important point to keep in mind is their attempts to surpess the vote, which shows how desperate they have become.

You are confusing the Tea Party with the bible thumpers. They are not the same. In fact both groups tend to dislike each other, especially after Huckabee talked his buddy Todd Akin out of quitting the '12 Missouri Senate race.

There is nothing wrong with obstructing the damage Obama and the Democrats are doing.

Looking much, much worse for the Democrats as they are forced to change their failed "blue state" model, or die as a party.

Nonsense. The Democrats are so scared of losing that they do not want to allow photo IDs at the polls so they can steal elections.

Dude have you EVER seen a Tea Party rally where people were holding social issue signs?

Seriously. Show me a photo of someone at a -Tea Party rally- holding an anti gay marriage/abortion sign or something. You're never going to find more than a tiny handful if any because that's not what they're about.

Also it seems like TEA is at least half female judging from the photos.

You should be ashamed of yourself for believing what the slimy elite media weasels say about a genuine grassroots movement.

And they'd both make a hell of a better president than we currently have.
