Ted Cruz will never be President. Are conservatives that blinded to reality? No one and I mean no one except for right wingers likes Ted Cruz after hearing him speak.

I really hope he runs and wins the nomination, and he'll get crushed in a general election.

He'll lose by a larger margin than Christie, or Walker.

Me too. As a Democrat, Cruz is my first choice of an opponent in 2016. It won't matter who the Democrats run against him--it will be an easy win. All they have to do is sit back and allow Cruz to speak unfettered. Plus, we'll have the added entertainment of watching the birthers try to take down their own candidate.

Unfortunately, Cruz may end up derailing himself long before that if he is successful in his mission to shut down the government. He will be un-electable after that.

Less people voted for Obama in 2012 than voted for McCain in 2008. Voter turnout among conservatives was really low because for some reason they didn't like Mitt Romney. But give them a real contrast with the Democrats, after eight years of Obama, and I bet Cruz actually could win.

Looking much, much worse for the Democrats as they are forced to change their failed "blue state" model, or die as a party.

Nonsense. The Democrats are so scared of losing that they do not want to allow photo IDs at the polls so they can steal elections.
You repeat this "faied blue state model" thing consistently. I'm betting it's a Roger Ailes talking point.
I've got news for you...It's places like "blue" NY that carry the red states by paying more than their share of taxes...

Yeah, he might be another conservative star who flames out. Although he is elected from Texas and there is no more fertile ground for insane conservatism.

I really do hope he runs and wins the nomination. He'll be toast, the election won't even be close. Dude is a right wing extremist's extremist and again no one but right wingers likes this man after hearing him speak.

McCain received 59,948,323 votes in 2008. Obama received 65,915,796 votes in 2012.

Romney also got more votes than McCain. This myth that somehow conservatives didn't show up in 2012 is just a myth.

LOL! The Demcorats OWN ObamaCare, which is a mess and very unpopular. The "blue model" is a failure.

The Democrats are broken! They must change their failed policy, or die! Do you honestly see Democrats dumping the failed "blue model" anytime soon? I don't.

The GOP is in a way better spot right now, especially with that incompetent clown show in the White House.

I see another 1994 coming.

Of course not, he was born in Canada.

Cruz was born in Canada.

Oh yeah, you folks are lefties and are totally ignorant about the US Constitution, so you do not get why Cruz can't be President without first amending the US Constitution.
