You are preaching your dreams, but it does not look like they will become reality. I posted the cost estimates for legal pot and they were sky-high, and the Mexican cartels will have no trouble beating those prices.

As I said cannabis is not the big problem coming from south of the border. Yeah sure they sneak over here and grow it in our national forests, and sneak it across the border, but most of the stuff in circulation here now was grown here. At any rate, legalization will force the cartels to move on to other things. Given that cocaine is bigger money maker for them, they will focus on that. Cannabis cultivation, distribution and cultivation will be legitimate and we will be better off for allowing it.

I just read that. Legalization will make "firefights" like that non-existent. One would think that if the government of this country and governments of the world were smart enough, they would see this.
