Even Obama was born in the United States. I find it amazing that the GOP is talking about a Canadian running for president (that is, until he renounces his dual citizenship; he hasn't done it yet) who was raised by a communist father who fought for Castro.

Nothing would please me more than for Ted to run, unless he picked Sarah for the VP slot. That would top all hopes and great expectations.

Welfare costs would plummet, new public schools would NEVER be needed again (pretty much ALL the new school building in the past 30 years was due to immigration), and the working class would slowly regain some power as the number of jobs better equalized with the number of working people in the population.

Would this eventually be good for America because we would all speak a common language and share a common culture, or bad for America because we would lose the skills and talents of the foreign born residents? Your thoughts.
Why stop there? Perhaps anyone who can't prove that they have an ancestor who has been here since the establishment of the USA in 1776 should be gone as well?

Of course, this is absolutely a silly question as well as unrealistic. Many foreign born residents have greatly contributed to the USA. But the USA cannot handle all of current illegal immigrants.
