Yep, and for those who have already cut those types of things, now it's time to cut the internet, the cable, get rid of the 10 year old car and buy a bus pass instead, and don't forget to cut the grocery bill. Pop tarts and ramen noodles are much cheaper then vegetables and meat but at least you'll have health insurance for when you get sick from eating a diet of cheap junk.

They're more important to someone who already had insurance and is now paying more to subsidize others.

Its certainly more important to the insurance.companies that you pay them as opposed to taking the family on vacation.

It's not health care, its for-profit insurance where shareholders in Monaco are waiting for their cut.

The awful arrogance of this creep who has never worked for a living amazes me.

All said just days before leaving on his milti-million dollar golf vacay in Florida.

So, if you earn $700 weekly ($600 after taxes depending on whee you live) all you need to do is give up cable television, internet and cell phone to afford your health care insurance.

What a great guy!
The President never said cut household spending to afford health care. A family of three with an income of $36,000 could sign up for a bronze plan for $750 per year. Two 30 year olds could sign up for $1800 per year and a single person with the same income would be about $2400 per year. Is this excessive? All the President said was that people should consider what would happen if they didnt have insurance.

Yes, cut the internet and cable if that is what it takes. Again, it's up to the individual to decide what is more important for them.

so save money and have the things you want and need, or pay for health insurance and have nothing else. yes what a choice there. just another liberal wanting to make everyone equally poor. just another liberal telling us how to spend our own money. just another liberal deciding that what was happening before obamacare was bad because people could afford health insurance, or health insurance alternatives, and wanting to screw that up royally. yes thank you democrats for screwing things up with the hideous obamacare law.

Lol! The very same conservatives who were always howling "If these deadbeats can afford cell phones and fancy manicures, they can afford health insurance!!" are now complaining.
What an about-face!
Well, it did come from Obama, so now it's something to whine and complain bitterly about....even though they were saying the same thing just a short time ago.

but you are forgetting a lot of stuff, like how much is the deductible? and after that how much are you paying out of pocket? its not just the initial health insurance premiums that you have to deal with, its the $10,000 you have to pay out of pocket, before the health insurance kicks in, and then the 20% after that the health insurance doesnt pay. and then there are the doctors visits, lab tests, etc, that the health insurance doesnt pay for either, along with prescription meds. if you want those things covered, you are going to pay a lot more than you suggest on a PER MONTH basis, not yearly. in fact you are going to have to show me that your rates are even accurate since the CBO was suggesting that the average premium for a family of for was going to be on the order of $20,000 per year.
