Unlike everyone else here, my mind does not revolve around presidents. I didn't vote for the guy, so I do not feel obligated to defend his actions. Keeping the US safe is an important issue, and you would think it is where both sides come together, but it reading the posts here it is clear that partisan bickering takes the first priority over everything else.

The only good thing about France is the Foreign Legion. Those guys just don't care. Put them on the ground and watch how they clean house with little regard for anything else.

I have a lot of respect for those guys.

They can say a lot of things but I will wait and see.

The dog in this fight is oil. Obamas decision to engage is a necessary evil as long as we are dependent upon it. There are few solutions here. It is going to be a problem for generations to come, unless Jesus returns or an asteroid collides with earth. Saving that, the battles for ground profits will continue for the foreseeable future. The potential problem is if an unsponsored terrorist walks a nuke into Israel.

If that happens outcomes will not be predictable and calamity could ensue imho. Do you think this possibility keeps people up at night in Washington? You can bet it does.

Do you know the difference between naming an individual and an administration? You betray your actual beliefs with a statement such as this. While claiming to "not feel obligated" to defend his actions you certainly seem to do so on a continuing basis. Can you say hypocrite?

Not completely. Even if we do basically disable them, another fanatical muslim sect will rise up- there is no end to the loonies over there.

US has taken the lead role, like we always do. This is an undeniable fact, not an opinion. I have not heard anyone take credit for anything yet. Considering this is still in the planning phase, it is a bit early to fly the "mission accomplished" banner. Wouldn't you agree?

That's the problem with your way of thinking which revolves around political parties, and their representatives. It is not about the "who". It is about trying to prevent these terrorists from attacking the US.
