being a black male openly carring is a death wish in many areas... thats just a fact.. its not even a good idea if one is white.. if one is willing to die for ones rights and get 15 minutes of fame it may be a good idea...

it may be your right but if you make someone uncomfortable and they call the cops, the cops will investigate. Why not just conceal? In the same argument I support unregulated sale and possession of suppressors. For hearing protection and to prevent drawing attention to oneself when practicing and more confidence in a home defense situation... after all the criminals will have/use the suppressor anyways. Anyone with ccw should be able to get a suppressor without the large fee, tax stamp, waiting period.
He was not open carrying. He took a BB gun off the shelf at the store. How else do you get the bb gun from the shelf to the check out?

FYI open carry is not handling a firearm with your hands. Read the statutes.

Show me the the gun rights advocates on FOX doing the same.
Gun rights advocates aren't saying anything because they usually tend to get involved with issues that actually involve...wait for it........gun rights. Your pathetic attempt to link gun rights to an incident of police accidentally shooting someone who was buying a BB gun at walmart is pathetic at best but at the same time it's really fun to watch. It's another example of what occurs in Liberal Bizzaro World- the alternate reality that liberals like to live in.......

The caller needs to go to jail for stating in his 911 call that the shooter was "waving the gun around". Video evidence shows that was a lie and he has admitted to it.

Everyone should watch the video from the mindset that the police showing up on the scene were told that a guy was waving a gun around at people.

I wish they'd shot the 911 caller.

Family is going to get everything that caller owns and a big settlement from the police dept. as well.

Those officers should be fired for poor training but a criminal indictment given they were lied to....that's a longshot.

I listened to the actual 911 call paired up with the video ...

The 911 caller even said that Crawford was loading the rifle with bullets (he said this several times) .. again, clearly a lie. And further said that Crawford pointed the rifle at two children ... more clear lies.

Can a dishonest 911 caller even be held responsible with anything?

But what if the person who was killed had a license to carry? Wouldn't that impact .... gun rights?

What was the 'accident'?

That would make the most sense. Sucks that the guy was killed over a piece of store merchandise.

If that's all true, there should be murder charges brought against the 911 caller.

There are clearly some serious charges that can be brought against the guy in this situation.

NOt 100% certain which ones but if he did those things....he's going to jail where he'll get the crap beat out of him.
