Was the cause of death strangulation or was it a heart attack?
I don't know.
The question was simply what would do if you were choking somebody and they said they couldn't breathe. (Assuming said person is unarmed and you have 5 or 6 armed people helping you).
I'd ease up and see what was going on. It's obvious this guy was not a threat.
They are pretty bad, I agree. But, maybe the guy was like Billy Jack and could take them all down with his feet, I don't know. I guess that would be scary.
On any given day I'd be willing to bet that there are hundreds of suspects in the process of being arrested who are claiming that they can't breath or the cuffs are too tight or some other exclamation made in order for the arresting cops to stop what's happening to them.
I would know that I wasn't actually choking him. If choking was my intent, I would adjust so that he couldn't say that.
