There is a longer video, uncut, that provides greater context.

Further, a video taken by a bystander.

May be wise to watch both to obtain a greater understanding.

I did notice it interesting that during the first visit to her car, (shown in the longer video), he approaches the passenger side window. A safety protocol for oncoming traffic. He takes about 5 minutes to do record search, write warning. During that period is when while waiting, she smoked a cigarette.

When he returns, he returns to the driver side window this time instead, closer to her. For about a minute he engages with her, giving the warning, then what seems like taunting her by making awkward pauses, then asking if she was okay. Like, he didn't want to disengage. Per protocol, give the warning, the instructions, act in a standard way, be done with the interaction. When she responds to his okay that she was fine, she was upset about the ticket, understandably so, he then gives her aggravation about the cigarette. Only at that moment. She had the cigarette lit when he walked back to her car, it had been lit for a good 45 seconds while he engages with her. If it was an issue, why provoke nonsense like this after the conversation you incited that was unnecessary. Ask her to put it out immediately if it was an issue. Looks retaliatory to me.

Will wait to see how this all unfolds. Do recommend watching all content. Very sad this resulted in death.

Maybe she felt the way you do, so figured she might as well speak her piece before getting beat up.

fyi... the 5th Amendment has nothing to do with this.

It has everything to do with this. The cop apologists always make the claim that a person is required to cooperate with a cop, answer their questions and follow orders. The Constitution plainly states that is not the case at all. A person could give a cop nothing more than their drivers license, registration and insurance and answer every question with a blank stare or an eff you and it would be completely kosher and legal according to the 5th Amendment.

I would have to be pretty bored to watch an eight minute long video of some idiot who thinks she knows the law better than a police officer and thinks she has the upper hand. She broke the law, she acted stupidly, and this should be a teachable moment.

That said, let's get back to the important topic. #Blacklivesmatter. Like the black man who raised a confederate flag in Mississippi and was promptly murdered by other blacks for daring to hold a different position than them on a controversial subject. For these people, black lives matter, but only when it's convenient for their agenda!

The fact is the cop was being assaulted with a deadly weapon: second hand smoke.

The Cop has already been caught lying multiple times about the incident and in the video seems very unprofessional, revengeful and childish. There is no telling what this idiot would have done differently even if she "kept her anger in check" BTW, the Cop seems MUCH angrier than the Victim, who keeps her cool for the most part and asks all the right questions (that are never responded to, like "why am I being detained"?)
Do you ever get tired of being completely wrong about everything?

Based on the blind defense of lawless behavior and disrespect for law and order on this thread it's easy to see how localities populated by certain groups are dominated by criminal activity and so readily descend into anarchy and mob rule. The idea that certain protected classes can act with impunity regardless of the law and the rights of others is an idea being slyly and deliberated fostered so certain protected classes will be perceived as being above the law.

Watched it again a few time and I changed my mind. She was a ***** but he could have said have a nice day and walked way. No need to escalate it and ask her to get out of the car.
