If women started going topless men would stop paying so much attention and start taking it for granted. Women like the attention, so covering their breasts up until they are useful is to their advantage.
Breasts aren't used directly in sex, their primary purpose is to nourish newborns. Of course they are an object of sexual arousal for men, but women can become equally aroused from a shirtless man with an appealing physical figure.
As if there aren't women who get "excited" when they see a man in good shape with no shirt on.
original purpose for breasts was for feeding babies,but since lets say the 50s women started bottle feeding and very few women nursed. After a dry spell some women got back to nature and again nursed their young but still a low percentage. So now breasts are seen by men and women as more a sex toy. The major increase of breast enlargement wasnt to have bigger boobs for nursing it was for drawing male attention and for inflating ones personal egos. Never saw or heard of women getting turned on by a males bare chest. Women dont go by sight as much as personlity,cleanliness,good dresser,respectiful. You know, the important things that would make for a healthy relationship.
Cold ailment: a FEW women going naked, which is illegal, for money is not news. They're looking for attention and money is my guess. My post was about women in general. There are always a few exceptions.
This thread is about women not being allowed to be topless in modern culture and why and where that originated from, I have no clue how your rants relate to my question.

Sometimes, things are the way they are just because. You can go about and enjoy life. Or get offended by literally the dumbest sht in the world and pursue your own path to liberation, walking around the mall topless.
At what point in time and where was it decided that men can be shirtless but women can't? And trust me, there are many men in this country that are in more serious need of upper chest support than some women. Both men and women have nipples, why is it that since women have more rounded breasts they ought to be covered up, and it's considered "nudity" if they aren't?
Because of men.
