Those who can't, teach.

Another race-hustler gets exposed for lying through her teeth about a police stop.

“There’s a real danger here.†- Ron Kirk, Former Dallas Mayor/Black Democrat/Former Secretary of Trade for Obama Administration. He is talking about the "Danger" of Race Baiters like Bland.

Racism? By whom? |Washington Post

“As a person of color, this upsets me,†said former Dallas mayor Ron Kirk, who is also African American.

“She took advantage of a very innocent and thoughtful police response — walk on the [correct] side of the street — she’s just looking for her Skip Gates moment,†Kirk told the Morning News, referring to the 2009 arrest of black Harvard professor Henry Louis “Skip†Gates, which led to accusations of racism against the Cambridge, Mass., police officer involved in that case. “There’s a real danger here.â€

Ms Bland deserves to lose her job because she deliberately LIED in Print in the Largest Newspaper in Texas ..... and then she spread that LIE over Social Media all over the USA. IF the Corinth Police had not moved to protect themselves with a Video Tape, their lives could have been destroyed by this Delusional Woman with no Conscience. Lost their jobs, lost their careers, death threats, "protest marches" and perhaps another Law Enforcement Officer gunned down as "retribution" for a LIE.

Mayor Kirk is absolutely correct - this is Dangerous and a LOT of Black Americans are beginning to realize that. I don't think these Race Baiters can stop, which means a lot of Black Americans will be painted with a Broad Brush they don't deserve. Ron Kirk spoke up and that's what they all have to do.
You are either a part of the solution OR you are the problem.

It is an abuse of power to detain a pedestrian and call in for a background check when they are not suspected in any crime.

Her only embellishment was that they sounded their siren - but she had earbuds on an some sound made her turn around. The police concede they turned on their emergency lights.
They made a lawful stop, they have the right to look for wants and warrants and to ask for a name and DOB to add to the report. More armchair quarterbacking from people who know nothing about what LEOs do.

my 2 cents...why did the cops escalate this to the point of stopping and asking for ID. Sure they can but why do they need to? They could just tell her to get on the sidewalk and be done with it. I am a white male and I have been told by cops many times to move from somewhere, disperse from an event, leave a park, etc and I have never been asked for ID. So while i don't think the cops are wrong, I don't think they are completely right either. If that was a white middle aged soccer mom, I wonder if they would have went to this extent for something as minor as walking in the street.
