It’s funny reading what people think they know, just know -- even if they are really, really wrong. That's why it's really helpful to have this new report from the Commonwealth Fund comparing actual performance with pre-implementation predictions. Premiums came in far below expectations; part, but only part, of this positive surprise was given back by 2016 premium hikes, with overall costs still looking very good.
Pre-ACA health insurance wasn't better either. Children under 26 yrs. old can stay on my policy and nobody has to worry about losing their insurance if they have a pre-existing condition.
So my 300% more costly Obamacare plan that gave me also a 350% worse deductible are telling you that passed this FUBAR believing pricing was going to be even higher? OMG
I don't know if its number 56, but there had been over 30 last year this time, so its close enough.
I got really excited when I first glanced at this topic. Wow, finally somebody is doing something about the disastrous and unfair ADA!! I knew the Republicans had it in them to do something right for once....

The Democrats had the Presidency and both Houses from 2009- 2011.
The GOP will repeal ObamaCare which is all fine but won't do anything about affirmative action diversity programs or repeal the demographic and cultural changing Immigration Acts. Actually the neocons continually increase immigration. What good are progressive neo-cons? We need real conservatives.
After the 100th try Paul Ryan will throw himself off the Capitol rotunda in a final act defiance.
