I'm not sure your point given no one suggested withdrawing a safety net from society.
And I thought conservatives wanted to decrease dependence on these programs. Repealing the ACA will increase dependence on Medicaid and welfare. At least those who can afford, must pay, what they can afford to, for their own insurance.

You misunderstood. Taking away the ACA will decrease the number of people covered by insurance. These people without insurance will readily qualify for entitlement programs.

Obamacare actually increased the dependency on Medicare.

Well one thing #56 is telling us. Passing this with one party only will lead to the eventual repeal when a different President does sign a repeal.

We still have 30 million uninsured americans, which is where we started..

You do understand that most of those who "benefited" from ACA actually ARE ON WELFARE/Medicaid, right?

Also, there are those who would rather have totally free medical insurance (Medicaid) rather than pay what they can afford for health insurance (ACA).

You arent helping your position much because "paying what they can afford" is welfare..

Why isn't the GOP working on this then? What are they proposing to help this?
