This has always fascinated me. Huge numbers of working class republicans talk about how free stuff is terrible, after 40 years of a massive transfer and redistribution of wealth and income from the working class to the big money donor class. Free stuff is flowing to the donor class in the forms of corporate welfare, trade deals, wars for profits, bailouts, anti-trust laws etc etc etc, keeping the donor class on top while laughing at the working class. I just dont get it. Why are so many republicans not bothered by the elephant in the room ****ting the hole room down but instead they continue to focus on some dust in the corner like food stamp fraud?

Well both ideologies/party's favor theft from all in order to give to one group or another. It's how they retain power.

Yes, but lets talk about why working class Republicans focus on the dust in the corner, like food stamp fraud, and not the fat elephant ****ting down the entire room, like the gifts to the donor class who spend billions in lobbying to get trillions in favors.

Why should they when such a large numbers of Democrats haven't the last 7.5 years either? I understand this is about Republicans but that is the answer. How do you expect them to condemn this when the (D)'s don't (in large if not overwhelming numbers).

Both parties should condemn fraud.

It is probably because the Democrats favor a bigger government that will give out more favors. Heck, the Democrats want to go to single payer. Wake up, Irene...the donor class will make a killing there.

I don't think you're going to get an answer out of conservatives. They're just going to deflect as usual and talk about Democrats.

It seems the Republican nominee is much more vocal about trade deals than the Democrat nominee, Ms. Walmart, err...Clinton.

40 years of a massive transfer of wealth and income from the working class to the big money donor class and when the working class fights back it is labeled "free stuff" by taking money from the donor class? Cry me a river. Let them cry all they want. They've been on the war path for 40 years against the working class so why should people buy into their propaganda?

Republicans consider it patriotic for the wealthy to take every advantage possible, while paying as little in taxes as possible and paying their employees as little as possible.

No war on the working class. Only people with their head up their ass think so.

The fact is there is no better time in history to be an American worker. Yes, particularly if you are a woman or person of color. If you are a racist white man depending on discriminating against minorities to get you a job times are a bit tougher.
