If the cops were looking for a 6'4" White guy with red hair & a tattoo on his neck, then the police saw a 6'4" White guy with red hair and tattoo on his neck driving down the street, they shouldn't stop him?
That's a wee bit more precise than having a wide based nose.
If all the cop had to go on from the bolo alert was black with wide set nose And the taillight was ok, there's a big problem with the stop itself. What happened after the stop is another issue. I tend to be skeptical if any initial eye-witnesses, especially if they have a stake in how events are perceived. Dash or body cam will tell more, if there is any.
If the stop....again...if the stop was bogus, everything else after that is on the cop.
Why would he post things like "Merry CRIPmas and a happy BLUE year" on his facebook page? Like I said before, if a White guy wrote messages about the Klan, was posing in a Klan robe, or with people in Klan robes and was a member of a Klan facebook group, there's no way people would be arguing he had no affiliation with the Klan.
Because it's a joke? Prince Harry was photographed in a Nazi uniform. Nobody assumes he's a Nazi sympathizer.
Aside from "Merry CRIPmas," what other Crip oriented posts did he make? That post was made five years ago. Got something more current?
The cop had presumably seen the pics the media broadcast everywhere. The photos appear that both robbers are about 30 y/o. The physical description included what they were wearing, that they were both Black, with dreadlocks, that one had his dreads tucked up in a bun, with facial hair on his chin. Describes Castile almost to a 'T'.
So what are you trying to say? That it's okay to shoot someone if you mistakenly think they have committed a crime several days before?

Well that wasn't the actual description of the suspects though. The description was their clothing, shoes, Black men, dread locks, one wearing glasses, one wearing his dreads up in a bun, facial hair on his chin. The photos were released as well, showing them to be around 30 y/o. The officers mention of a "wide set" nose was just a reference point. Not all Blacks have wide set noses. It was something that seemed to stick out to the officer.

No, what I'm saying is Castile wasn't just randomly pulled over. The cops had been issued an order to find the robbers. Yanez saw a guy that fit the description to a 'T', so he pulled him over. I don't have a problem with any of this up to this point.

Firstly he was answering a question that jumped to the conclusion that the NRA was not supporting his rights. He was offering an explanation for one of the reasons the NRA has not commented on it.
Secondly whites are more likely to have a license to carry or have a legal gun because of discriminatory liberal policies in the cities where blacks predominately live. The lowest rates of legal gun ownership are in black communities located in the inner cities in part because of government policies that make it very difficult and expensive to legally possess a gun.
For example in NYC there is $450 non refundable application fee for a pistol permit that can be denied for almost any reason. This is not a permit to carry it concealed , it's to own the gun. Only the rich and politically connected are able to obtain them.
That doesn't change the fact that it is plausible for a black man to have a license to carry. In NYC, a white person is just as unlikely to be carrying just like a black person.
Did you see the video? He was sitting on the passenger side in front.
He was the driver, the video was mirrored via facebook.
