Nobody can tell me any legitimate use of consuming alcohol. There's none.

No , instead they want to sue the bar that served the alcohol. Just as stupid as sueing a gun manufacturer.

If a firearms sole purpose is to kill , why aren't manufacturers getting sue in cases where people got shot and didn't die ? After all , it seems like a faulty firearm right ? If their sole purpose was death, how could they be sued for it ?

In the real world the militia drilled with rifles. That's what the founding fathers were talking about. The discussion is recorded if you want to read it.

The analogy would be advocating the banning of all automobiles, as drunk drivers kill 27 people per day. Forget the fact that the vast majority of drivers do not kill anyone- we must ban all automobiles to prevent drunk drivers from killing people.
Don't give them any ideas. Too much carbon.

More stupidity.

We take away the privilege to drive from those who get blotto from drugs or alcohol, we take away the licensees of those to are caught being unsafe with cars. we require that those who want to drive cars have a license that is valid, we require that those who want to drive cars be tested. We require that those who have a car are insured.

The "left" that I have been hearing from has not been arguing to get rid of guns, they have been arguing to control who can get access to guns...

I Purchased my gun 10 years ago. At the time, I had a BG check done, and paid taxes on the purchase price. That was the first, last, and only time the state and I said boo to each other regarding that gun.

Meanwhile each of my cars is re-taxed every year, has to be relicensed every year, and I must provide proof that it is insurable, insured, and safe to use every year.

Cars and access to cars is far more regulated than guns.

Interesting... we need more laws, and some common sense restrictions !!!

And how to run cannons, load and fire, along with making explosives/bombs to blow arsenals and bridges. Rockets red glare and all that, by 1812. They left it at arms, because arms changed and they knew it.

They illegally taxed you!! Made a few extra bucks.
Your right to Keep & Bear arms cannot be taxed. Rights are not to be taxed or they are not rights.

This guy is a perfect example of why more laws, restrictions do not work....

Cahill, who has had his license revoked 24 times and suspended 17 times since 1986, was driving with on a suspended license at the time of the crash, the newspaper reported.
