It's been reported. As fact. And of course you're making the excuse that a summer job wouldn't be enough. Because that would throw your "I couldn't afford law school" argument out the window.

My ex put himself through college, graduating with an engineering degree, by only working summer jobs. At the start, he parked sailboats and lifeguarded at a country club during the week, and swept up construction sites in NYC on the weekends. As he advanced in college, he took summer jobs that related to his field. Between his junior and senior year, he worked at the Port Authority, and made enough money to finish school and buy a car. A close friend put himself through college digging clams during the summer. When he took an engineering job, he also took a pay cut.

When you make excuses of why something can't work before you even try, it's a guarantee that it won't work. And that you'll remain a low income earner your whole life.

So if there were no illegal immigrants, McDonald's and WalMart would be paying, what, $20, $40 an hour?

Well, huh.

People need to get over the welfare hate already. In the not too distant future a significant amount of the population will be on cradle to grave welfare, as there will be few to no jobs for them due to technology. Humanity is reaching a new stage. A stage which is very uncomfortable for conservatives, the idea that not everyone will have to toil away at a some mindless drudgery to survive

The free market will determine that. I don't see paying more than $7/hr to flip burgers and putting plastic crap on shelves. I know people don't like to face reality but it's a mindless job that requires no education or skill.

You're expecting people to do nothing useful for society and you want everyone else that works to subsidize their comfort level? No thanks. There are places that have low COL for those types.

I'll note there are no education/skill requirements to be POTUS either.

Did you said the same thing on Hillary Clinton when Obama as a political favor named her Secretary of State......at least BEN isn't compromising national security by putting a personal server in his basement which wasn't secure to hackers and selling out the office to the highest bidder worldwide while his foundation is getting millions of dollars from all over the world and then when subpoena destroyed 30,000 emails.

is that the "experience" you democrats want in office?.....
Silly poster, why don't you research before you write? Both Hilary and Obama were ABUNDANTLY qualified to hold political office. For one thing, they have held several political posts already. Obama is a graduate of Columbia and Harvard. He was a civil rights attorney and Constitutional law professor and a senator in the state of Illinois three terms.

Hilary Clinton graduated from Wellsley College, a graduate of Yale Law School, and a former New York senator in addition to being Secretary of State. Ben Carson is a neurosurgeon who is undoubtedly smart, educated, and qualified to fix complex illnesses of the brain, but totally unqualified to solve complex governmental housing problems of the poor. Being smart in one field doesn't make you smart in something completely different.

I agree with Ben Carson.

Also, the baby daddies and the fill in baby daddies should not be living there on a free ride.
