Just look through any of these healthcare threads. You'll find plenty of people who will tell you that they want the pre-Obamacare system back.

Obamacare has a lot of positives, but also some negatives.

The current system is bad because the healthy middle class end up paying more for a service they don't use. It's getting to the point that they can no longer afford it. My friend only goes to the doctor once a year and pays cash. It's cheaper for him to pay the tax penalty than pay $300/mo for insurance he won't use.

The best option really is a single payer system. Increase the federal income tax and rework the budget, but this eliminates the need to pay $800+ per month for a family health insurance plan. It's insane that my rent payment is cheaper than some people pay for health insurance. This is how you know the system has failed.

Gates Foundation Critique - Techrights

"Through the foundation, Bill, Melinda and Microsoft maintain pharmaceutical patent investments, tobacco investments, investments in alcoholic beverages, petroleum investments, investments in experimental and controversial crops, and even investments in news/media. Gates need not even pay tax, though he keeps control of the assets and uses that control to influence private and public policy."

You can have any system you want as long as people aren't forced into it at gunpoint or via coercion.

I am not sure why liberals love to use violence and guns so much.

No problem... just pre-charge everyone premiums for 40 years or so, and then after that 40 years of premium pre-payments they can have government health insurance. That's how Medicare works.

They do pool their money into a central pool. It is called the Federal Income Tax.

They also pay into charities of their choice.

The bickering will never stop ...

Wouldn't that solve more problems than all the bickering?
Same reason Cons don't pool their money together to build a stupid wall.
