It is always unfortunate when people make statements that could be perceived as threats. We don't have the luxury of knowing a person's intent. Each alleged or perceived threat has to be investigated
CNN gave a tepid response basically saying that they would think about the situation - code for: we aren't going to do anything. But heck, CNN still hasn't disavowed the pedophile Jacob Schwartz (the former president of the Manhattan Young Democrats) who was arrested for child porn and has been on CNN countless times.
As far as I know, no comment from the DNC, which she'd done a lot of fund raising for, and the majority of the democratic politicians appear to be silent.
I didn't answer the question because none of the choices fit my opinion. I think it's free speech and protected, but also neither in good taste nor funny. She has apologized.
I find a lot of very liberal comedians very funny, but she isn't one of them.
Agreed. I actually really enjoy John Oliver most of the time when he isn't making fun of Trump, which is half the time lately. And then theres some comedians who are about as funny as a dead walrus, like the terribly unfunny Samantha Bee.
Anyway. Kathy went way too far. The office of the presidency deserves SO much more respect than that regardless of what people think of him. Many of these Holywood jerks are so attention starved and say negative publicity is better than no publicity. The lack of class by many on the left is hurting their brand, and as a whole they lack the self-awareness to realize it.
Time for the media to step in and do its job. Media can get people fired when they broke no law.
She can do whatever, but must face some consequence from society based on her poor behavior.
