lol Seriously?!
'They' is the British public in general. Brits don't want Trump visiting, we think he's a prize pillock. And May is seriously jeopardising the Tories' chance of winning this election (which is good, they need to lose, they've done enough harm already) by refusing to talk about Donald Doll-Hands.

I doubt you can represent the British public in general, with all due respect.

I don't say it to be mean or difficult.

I assume British general public has mixed views. Some hate him, some dislike him, some are okay with him, some are indifferent.

How can they do the whole glad to see you mate thing when Trump has been such an ass.

They don't want him in the UK -- he should stay home and try to fix his budget, healthcare.

When your ally is attacked, the appropriate response is the one the ambassador made - support. Period.
OK, sounds like he tweeted about plenty of topics. All good.
if you don't want to see more of this crap over here --- you better start supporting some of what Trump wants to do --- regardless of whether you like Trump or not

Some seem to have ignored the fact that the London Mayor is a Muslim.

A large proportion really dislike him, another large proportion just think he's a complete idiot who shouldn't be in a position of power, and a small minority like him or are indifferent.

I don't really have a problem with him being a Muslim,

But he has called on the British government to cancel a planned state visit by Donald Trump after being criticised in two tweets by the US president.

You have to wonder, seriously?! He sounds pretty vindictive.

well, like him or not, he is the American president. I dislike Putin and Xi Ping (spell check), but I know that we still have to treat them as foreign leaders and working with them seem to be a good start.

What exactly did President Trump say that has his panties in a twist?

Most here on this thread are just playing off of it to spread their Trump hatred without any substance to their claims. There are plenty of Brits that like Donald Trump. The haters, like they are here, are just loud and obnoxious.
