But like most one liners, only half true.

Both sides eat up lies told to them by their leaders, and want to be lied to if needed to maintain and be made comfortable with their beliefs. No less so with the conservatives, both religious and political ones.

Yes, why was it so important to Trump that the FBI drop their investigation into Flynn...?

Very, very rarely have I heard that Trump himself was directly in cahoots with Putin himself.

I'm glad for his fragile psyche that Trump feels "vindicated" but in the real world there is still a great deal to investigate. Which may or may not lead to an investigation of Trump himself. Which is why Comey didn't want to prematurely state publicly that Trump was not directly under investigation.
Oh how soon we forget.

But no worries.

We're used to the Libs morphing and changing talking points as truth clears things up...

"It's clear that the FBI Director [James Comey] was taking instructions from Hillary Clinton's campaign. Clearly the Attorney General [Loretta Lynch] was giving him talking points -- and he literally adopted them. This admission today is stunning. I would argue that Mr. Comey's notes are the property of the U.S. government and that he has absconded with them."

January 20 headline: “The FBI is leading an investigation into Donald Trump’s connections with Russia” — first line, “The FBI is leading a multi-agency investigation into possible links between Russian officials and President-elect Donald Trump.”

Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress, March 20: “The FBI is investigating a sitting President. Been a long time since that happened.”

The New York Times March 20 headline: “F.B.I. Is Investigating Trump’s Russia Ties, Comey Confirms”

The Times: “Mr. Comey placed a criminal investigation at the doorstep of the White House and said officers would pursue it ‘no matter how long that takes.’”

Russell Berman in The Atlantic, March 20 headline: “It’s Official: The FBI Is Investigating Trump’s Links to Russia”

Jason Linkins in the Huffington Post, March 20: “we have a president under FBI investigation. How do you like that?” In an article headlined “Let’s Revisit All Those Times Trump Surrogates Said You Can’t Elect Someone Under FBI Investigation.”

Jack Moore in GQ, March 20 headline: “James Comey Confirms the FBI Is Investigating Trump’s Russian Connections”

... And we can just go on and on and on.

Do y'all really want to do all this backpedaling?

“The truth is that the facts are Director Comey is heading a criminal investigation into the past and present illegal activities of Donald Trump and a number of his former and present advisors whom he gathered to his 2016 presidential campaign. Let us be clear. Very clear. The FBI is not investigating of the basis of conspiracy theories, rumors, political axes to grind, or Russian propaganda. The FBI is conducting a criminal investigation based on factual evidence.”

“On Election Day, Trump Was The ONLY ONE Under FBI Investigation, Not Hillary Clinton” More from Scarborough: “The FBI reports that there’s an investigation between the White House, the President’s campaign and collusion with Russia . . . ”

Elizabeth Warren, Rachael Maddow... Y'all blew your horns for months on this.

So y'alls huge fireworks didn't add up to a popcorn fart.

All y'all got now is Trump's a liar. Trump's a fattie boombaladdie. What a bunch of worthless crybabies.

Go get your cryons and playdoh out. Go find your safe space.

We Republicans got to get back to work now.

Um, most of those headlines are accurate. Not all of them. But is there not an investigation into Trump's ties to Russia? By way of his chosen officials? That's not the same as Donald J Trump personally being under criminal investigation, which is what Comey testified.

But, that's ok, y'all enjoy your moment.

What makes this so asinine is comey can't figure out whether trump had intent so he leaked documents but he determined that Hillary had no intent and told the world after she:

Destroyed 33,000 emails on a government server
Said server was in a bathroom closet
She destroyed her phone(s) with a hammer
Etc etc

Anyone that doesn't see through this is a nitwit.. 80% of the Obama Administration needs to go to prison.

Yep, by his own testimony, Comey was way to "confused" over many things to be in charge of the FBI.

Either what Lynch did is wrong--and what Trump did is FAR worse; or if what Trump said is fine, then what Lynch said is no big deal at all.
So, in your estimation how did Lynch obstruct justice but Trump didn't?

And it's not like she (or Obama) fired him after many on the left accused him of losing the election for Clinton. How was justice obstructed?

Another country would be better for us....and them.

The "system" has already been corrupted by former President Obama. It could hardly be more corrupt, and if the evidence must be pointed out to you, you have clearly not been paying much attention to current events until now, and now only because of your hatred for Donald Trump.

"Draining the swamp" includes cleaning out the politicized Justice Department, the FBI (with the firing of James Comey, an entrenched bureaucrat) and all other government agencies.
When?
