Go and get yourself a bit more educated on both doctrines and review history, both old and current and you'll see that in current times radical Islam is by far the larger threat and even so called moderate Muslims have appallingly scary views of homosexuals and people who leave their faith and their opinions of non-Muslims.

Get some edumacation on the subject and their differences become quite stark.

If one actually believes that there is no difference between the two groups, then it would seem to follow that we should treat them the same. Implicit also is the groups' alien status within the United States and its value structure (which is ahistorical as the fundamentalists of their day, such as the Friends and Puritans, have left a very deep mark of their own on the national character). So whatever one thinks about Christian Evangelicals, to conflate them with Islamists is simple ignorant and inflammatory.

Goldwater was right. The American Right has been hijacked by Christian fundamentalists.
A lot less suicide bombings and terrorism and female genitalia mutilation and such.

Eh...most of the laws in effect in Western society are basically from the Bible. Could you provide a link to your Ted Cruz remark?

You are right about the far right being hijacked by fundamentalists but the far left has been hijacked by socialist and anarchists.

The difference between Christian and Jihadists....Suicide vests.....

Why don't we rename this thread to "why I hate Christians or better yet Christians = terrorists." I'm officially done with this thread.

I think it's eye opening just how spun the people that hate, for no other reason than to hate, Christians truly are.

I'd like some of these haters to say exactly how they have been affected personally (not in generalizations and group speak) by Christianity. Was it some over zealous bible thumping parents that forced them to go to church every Sunday?

White people do not see themselves as a cohesive group. Everyone is a lone shooter or solitary bad egg with white skin, but every brown or black person that commits a crime is indicative of a deeper issue within their respective culture. Every effort is made to try to absolve them of responsibility of whatever they do.

they come up with screwball excuses to justify it. Not surprising since the people being radicalized are the types who vote for Trump and who think that "hurting people they don't like" is a good way to run a nation. Both groups are being taught to hate anyone who's different and gladly treat them as sub-human.

Thankfully, our society here is civilized enough - for now - that we aren't simply killing "the other." But there is no difference between our bigots and theirs - just what book they wave around to wrongly justify their actions.

Interesting, but how do you compare Right Wing(generic term) attacks to Islamic religious(Specific) based attack? Are these Right wingers Skin heads, Nazis, Christian Religious fanatics, White Supremacist, Nationalist, Zionist? Were all the Right wingers screaming "Jesus Love you" during the Attacks?

The article doesn't list the occurrences that were counted as right wing attacks, but judging from Wiki. the number of Right wing Terror attacks is about the same as Leftist terror attacks. The rest are predominantly Islamist Terrorist attacks.
