Sez you. And who, exactly are you? Some big shot? I don't think so. You aren't any more important than the rest of us, and none of us are all that big. We are all just common folks here, you included.
Mueller is doing the job he was asked to do. He didn't volunteer, and was quite happy back in private life.
The man is a patriot. And he is also a lifelong Republican.
Would you rather have a highly partisan Democrat replace him? Or a defeated Republican with an axe to grind? Or a Ken Starr, who made a career out of his investigation for almost 4 full years?
For if he is fired, someone WILL replace him. Nixon fired both his AG and the special counsel his AG hired, and all he got were even tougher replacements that he couldn't fire.
Count Trump's blessings, dash. It could be much, much worse for him if it was someone else running the investigation. No one on the Hill questions Mueller's integrity. You should not, either.
And you had better pray that Trump is not so stupid as to fire him. Hell opened its gates for Nixon when he fired his AG and his first special counsel during the Saturday night massacre. After that, all his loyal support evaporated in Congress, and Trump has never had enough of that support from the beginning.
How would you know what Mueller is doing? He's made none of his findings public. Your knee-jerk claim that it's a witch-hunt, indicates that you think there's plenty for him to learn about Trump and you're afraid that it will be revealed.
He knows because that's what his dear leader has told him to believe.
It does seem that what the OP states is what Rump is doing. I wonder how LONG he can he get away with this crap... how long can he continue down this path before getting a swift kick, himself? As always, I can't believe this is happening and I hope to see this not go on for too long. Though to calm myself, it seems that the longer he is given an opportunity to make it worse for himself, it will allow for enough negative exposure and proper ammunition for others in order to be able to "hang him".
Obama admin, Clinton campaign, DNC and RINOs have all spent a ton of money and time trying to dig up dirt on Trump. They have absolutely nothing to show for it. I can't think of too many high profile figures (especially in politics) that could go through this much scrutiny without anything criminal turning up.
As far as Comey's integrity goes, you obviously don't pay attention or have a reading comprehension. The man lied under oath. Has been a clean up guy for the Clintons since Whitewater. Completely went way beyond the scope of his office during the Clinton email scandal. Leaked classified info.

My guess is Comey has flipped and is spilling the beans, Mueller was brought in to facilitate this. These two guys know where a lot of bodies are buried. I would wager that this winds up hitting some big time politicians in Washington but not Trump. I think this is going to become apparent sooner rather than later.

And Sessions is a wimp. We need a pit bull as AG to start exposing and prosecuting all the corrupt democrats that have gotten away with murder for far too long.
If there was any real Trump scandal, the DNC and their corrupt media and deep state would have exposed it long ago.
