Trump is the biggest crybaby in existence. It's astonishing. He is a literal child in a man's body. He's 71, but with the mentality of a 5 year old.

If Jeff Sessions had guts, he would walk into the Oval Office and tell Trump what he could do to himself followed by a punch in the nose. No person should have to take abuse like this. This is beyond absurd.

Trump is afraid to fire Sessions and then Mueller (the only reason he would fire Sessions). After firing Comey and Yates, he knows he would look like a Mafia boss by firing two more law enforcement officials.

He's such an idiot---he reminds me of the Sorcerer's Apprentice--over his head trying to control something that keeps getting worse. He tried to shut down the investigation by firing Comey, which then sparked the hiring of Mueller and now the beleaguered president doesn't know what to do to stop the encroaching investigation into his shady financial dealings.

So he waits until the recession to get rid of Sessions, fire Mueller and appoint some flunky AG to shut down the investigation? After recess, Congress comes back and passes a veto-proof resolution to start another investigation and appoint Mueller. Then Trump has even more dirt on him for obstruction of justice and he will have alienated the GOP. That limb he's out on with his family will break.

In your DREAMS.
The reason why The President wants Mueller to go away, is because this whole Russia collusion fiction novel is a distraction.
The President doesn't want a distraction, because a threat like North Korea requires maximum attention, and domestically things like healthcare and tax reform are far more important than the Russia collusion fiction novel.

Sessions recused himself months ago. Why all the urgency now?

If the president doesn't want distractions he should stop inventing them on a daily basis.

Trump really seemed to become unhinged when it was obvious the investigation was going to go into his finances. That seems to be what set him off on this anti-Sessions track. He must be afraid of Mueller uncovering some real dirt.

When did you sit in on Mueller's private investigative meetings to learn that he was conducting a witch hunt? You don't know what Mueller is doing. Trump doesn't know what Mueller is doing but it is obvious to all but the most blinded by the darkness that Trump is scared by whatever Mueller is doing.
Fact is, nobody knows what Mueller is doing. He's not saying and there are no leaks coming from his investigation, unlike the Trump administration which is leaking worse than the Titanic, 30 minutes after it hit the iceberg.
Russia did meddle in our election and you cannot sit there in good conscience and say the Mueller investigation into Russian meddling and collusion is a witch hunt.
Good God, Man! Both the house and the senate just overwhelmingly approved additional sanctions on Russia and took away Trump's power to rescind them by an overwhelming bipartisan majority.

You want to know what a witch hunt is?
I'll tell you what a witch hunt is.

A witch hunt is 11 separate investigations by republican committees into Benghazi in an attemp to burn Clinton at the stake..
A witch hunt is Trump calling for his opponent in the 2016 election to be investigated, tried, convicted of something.........anything and being put in jail.
A witch hunt is forming a special committee claiming that 3-5 million illegal aliens voted in the last election.

Those are classic examples of a witch hunt, scooter.

Looks like Trump's strategy in scolding Sessions worked! Sessions will start investigating these Deep State leaks.

Trump is pissed that since Sessions recused himself (which was the ethically right thing to do), Sessions can't play interference and put the screws to Mueller and obstruct his investigation, much less fire him.

Trump knows it looks bad if he directly fires Sessions and Mueller... so he'll try to make his life unpleasant and undermine him to the point where he will quit.

Then he will pick some good old lackey with unquestioning loyalty to come in as A.G. and fire Robert Mueller.

So... get ready for a Constitutional crisis soon. You hear it here: Trump is preparing to fire Mueller, and he will get it done. He knows his best shot at keeping his secrets is to purge the Justice Department of leaders who serve with some sense of integrity to the law and replace them with loyalists who will look after Trump's interests.
Well, he can always get his lapdog, Nunes, to get in Mueller's way. He's good at that.

Are you kidding? This president loves uproar. It makes him the center of attention, which is what he craves above all.
