Great of the Steelers to unify and show this orange SOB that he has zero respect and zero impact on the rest of us. They always were my home team, and I have even more respect for them now.

Just like most Hillary & Bernie supporters you are outta touch with the rest of America. We are fixing to send the NFL into bankruptcy. We are fed up with these pompous ingrates.

This is not happening. Ratings or ticket sales may be down - but to think it is politically-driven feels a bit ridiculous. Not everything is about politics.
Agreed. I think some people on here would also expect wheelchair bound people to stand for the pledge and or the anthem too...

I think the moonbats finally pushed to far on this one.
We won't chase your rabbit. You are talking about a rule violation of the game. Free speech is what we are talking about. Not football game rule violations.

What a silly glib answer.

None of the bolded have crap to do with NK advancing their nuke/missle program that many presidents before couldn't get handled.

What do Colin Kapernick, Jemele Hill, and Stephen Curry have in common? They are all Black people who spoke out against racism and got attacked by Trump for doing so. And still people insist that Trump is not a racist
Nice try, but this and other threads trying to conflate Trump being racist because you change the words and/or meaning of his words, falls on deaf ears to most who know better.
As was said in this and the other dupe thread, Trump never said the Nazi's were good people, he was merely pointing out that some people at the rally (being against the statues being removed) were good people. But leftists and Trump haters want to pretend Trump was saying there were good Nazi's.

Fortunately Trump made a very accurate statement, that being there were good and bad people on both sides of that donnybrook, which is factually true.
Some of the protesters were not part of Pantifa, and some supporters of the statues were not part of the Hitler worshipers.
Needless to say, anyone coming there looking for violence was on the wrong side of the law, even if you are going to protest against Nazi sympathizers.
Frankly, most smart people on both sides of the statue debate, probably got out of there once they saw the nuts on either side of the issue.

You very well know and are just trying to deflect. Look at the threads on this forum if you need to catch a clue.

Former Ranger Villanueva stands for anthem, Steeler teammates remain in locker room

A true American hero and patriot.

It takes NO courage to kneel or refuse to be present for the anthem. All the coward sheeples will do what their moronic teammates do, kneel or not show up.

It takes real courage to stay true to your core beliefs in light of peer pressure from fellow spoiled, overpaid brats.

The media are "ranting" because sports figures are making an anti-American political statement? Methinks they can hardly keep the smiles off their faces, and their eyes from lighting up.

But thanks for the laugh.
