What do you make of this? The fans want to stand with pride when you sing the anthem, others feel the need to disrespect you by kneeling, and its the fans you feel afraid of?
He resigned because he supports the protests. Everyone who wants to stand can stand, but to demand everyone do the same thing is pure PC. I stand, but if I see someone sitting, I do not make it my business to correct him/her.
Once again, another idiot spills his guts on social media when he's in a high profile position.
When will they learn? Of course, he deleted the post instead of standing on it and backtracked after his post attracted scrutiny...these cowards always do.

It does seem to be the case that he supports the protest (which, after all, is protesting the multiple instances of unarmed black men being killed by police). I will note that the singer is a black male:
