Every race incident that happens in the news, you can always count on white conservatives implying that racism doesn't exist, that it's a conspiracy conjured up by liberals to harm "race relations" (I really hate that phrase). Is every incident of white-on-minority racism fake news or just minorities complaining for complaining's sake? So who are the actual racists then, if it's not white supremacists?
At the Charlottesville white power rally, who were all those white guys with the white power symbols voting for? Clinton? Did they all vote for Obama? Were they all "color blind, we're all just Americans trying to get along" type people?
I've never heard racism doesn't exist, could you post a link to all these conservatives who claim this?
What power do blacks have over whites systematically in the US? I'm guessing your going to mention individual crimes that blacks end up going to prison for. Power would be blacks routinely harming whites and not being convicted. That's power. You're most likely talking about individuals crimes though.
But, do you expect someone to cross the street and hand all their money to the people they would prefer to avoid? There is no way you could correct the past wrongs by doing that, and in fact it would probably make things worse, by creating expectations of everyone doing that. Better that the people congregating took responsibility for their own plight and at least try to improve things for themselves. Getting from point A to point B with pride works a lot better than feeling like you owe somebody else for a handout.
Obviously you are thinking ONLY of ways to help that will ultimately be doomed to failure, because you are seeking to rationalize not helping. If you start out with the belief that its doomed to failure....you create a self fulfilling prophecy by not even putting forth the effort.
many whites still benefit from affirmative action though. Affirmative Action was never some black exclusive thing. This is the most flash-cardy wheel spinning response ever. And it's sad that it's constantly trotted out.

Racism exists. Not as much as some would like, more than some would like, not nearly as much as it once did. But why are guys like George Soros trying to keep it alive?
