If Im correct, standard issue is semi and 3 round burst; they did away with full auto long ago (its was deemed as wasting bullets by the military- inaccurate). Not that you cant get an older model fully auto, all you need is a thorough FBI background check, 6-8 month wait, $ tax stamp, and roughly 10,000-15,000 for the price of that model gun. And not to mention it being registered - subjected to be taken away at any time by the government.

On the lower it may have a detent or marking for burst or auto trying to put the selector switch there will do nothing.
The two windows were like 10-15 windows apart. Couldn't have been the same room.
Were they (or at least one of them) have been broken by police firing at (what they thought were) muzzle flashes? Police standing on the ground in front of the hotel? Maybe one window had someone with a camera taking pictures of the concert? (An excessively stupid thing to do.)
Hard to believe the cops would fire at a window like that without more positive ID of the target. Then again, literally hundreds of people were screaming out with gunshot wounds.
FOX had the former Boston Police Commissioner (Boston bombing) on and he said that he stayed at that hotel a few months ago for a police convention. He said that yes, it could be one room, a suite and one of the windows would have been in the living area and the other in the bathroom.
MSNBC has his brother on right now. He has no words and I totally understand. His family just got turned upside down just like 400 other families.
Ya, hard to watch. He said first thing he did when he learned what happened was call his other family to make sure his brother didn't off them too. What a frickin nightmare.
Unfortunately this was like shooting fish in a barrel. Shooting downward into a crowd at night lit up by concert lights made it easier. I fear copycat attacks.
Was he taking antidepressants? This information is usually downplayed because BigPharma is a big money advertiser on mainstream media as well as donor to politicians in both parties.
