Two days later, they recovered his body.

Sgt. Johnson was left behind when the rest of them took off.

Recon and rescue missions sometimes fail. That doesn't mean military INTENTIONALLY leave him behind.

Three other soldiers also lost their lives. In case you forgot.

What difference does that make?
I already explained to you. If you don't understand, there is nothing else I can say.

Are you trying to maintain that when they took off with the rest of them and left Sgt. Johnson behind that he was accidentally left behind?

Pentagon said he had a locator beacon that they were tracking until it faded.

Why didn't they flood that area with U.S. forces?

Why did it take two days to find his body?

I hope McCain insists on answers to who planned and organized this ill-fated military operation, why the French had to rescue them, and how the hell did Sgt. Johnson get left behind.

They were tracking his locator beacon. They knew he had been left behind.

I don't know, I wasn't there.

That is why I don't make wild accusations like you did.

These are not "wild accusations." These are reports from the Pentagon.

Are you saying the Pentagon is lying?

It is obvious you are very passionate about this topic, I have no ideas why and I don't want to know why.

Have you lost anybody in combat? You need to leave people's grief alone, man, you really do.
Did you say the same thing to Trump? The man who bought Kelly's son into the political fray.

Why do you feel the need to tell a stranger to stay classy when all they are doing is telling the truth?

The Pentagon is trying to cover their own butts in this fiasco. He may not have been intentionally left behind, but he was. As GetHereQuickly said, they should have flooded the area where his beacon was being registered but they didn't. 2 days is way to long to leave someone in the field injured or dead.

I think in this situation, he tried to do the right thing.

But the grieving family did not find comforts in his words. I don't think we need to blow it out of proportion.
That is what I thought. Do I like Trump? No, I don't. But IN THIS CASE, he didn't have bad intention.

In term that "stranger", well, why don't you check her posting history and see what b.s. she posted in the past several days.

You were not there, you don't know.

An investigation is already underway.

Why not wait till the investigation is over to post the bold?

well, getherequickly has said many times in this very forum

They intentionally left him behind. That is a bold accusation, isn't that?

The rest of your post, well, unfortunately, things like this DO happen because recon and rescue missions do fail. It happens.
